Dr. M.Todd Walter
Assistant Professor (site under revision-stay tuned)

I balance my professional activities between research and teaching. My interests are broad and interdisciplinary although my specialization is hydrology and water resources. My work spans spatial scales from raindrops to watershed-wide hydrological processes (surface and subsurface) and sometimes larger. Specific interests include environmental fluid mechanics, contaminant transport, cold-regions hydrology, watershed modeling, environmental biophysics, and watershed biogeochemistry. I am especially enthusiastic about my on-going and emerging collaborative research with microbiologists and ecologists.
